Is your yacht coastwise endorsed?

Under which legal framework do you prefer to operate charters?

We ask for the address of the entity that legally owns your yacht so that we can populate it on dynamically generated charter contracts, when needed

Scheduling & Calendar

Do you have a shareable operations calendar that includes other bookings and usage?

A shareable calendar allows Nauta to offer customers instant booking, making transactions smoother and improving conversion.

For shareable calendar, instantly booked yachts:

  1. Nauta reflects your calendar in the availability presented to users

  2. When a user books an available time slot, the charge is processed and you receive:

    • An email outlining the details of the trip (who booked, when, out of which marina, how many guests, and their chosen catering/alcohol delivery options)​

    • A text notification alerting you of the booking and prompting you to check your email

  3. The email will contain a link that you will use to confirm that you have received the booking and can operate the trip​

For bookings on yachts that do not have a shareable calendar:

  1. When a user books a trip on your yacht, we'll place a hold on their payment method for the cost of the trip

  2. Upon booking, you'll receive:

    • An email outlining the details of the trip (who booked, when, out of which marina, how many guests, and their chosen catering/alcohol delivery options)​

    • A text notification alerting you of the booking and prompting you to check your email

  3. The email will also contain a link that you can use to accept or decline the booking.​

    • If you accept the booking, we'll capture the charge and move forward with the trip​

    • If you decline the booking, we'll release the funds to the customer's original payment method and cancel the trip

    • If you do not respond within 24 hours of the booking, the trip will be automatically declined

Note: You can omit the season start and end date inputs if you operate in one region year round.

Although most charter programs typically offer limited durations such as 4, 6, and 8-hours, we strongly advise embracing a greater level of flexibility for customers. Even when a yacht employs a freelance crew that charges in 4-hour increments, it is better to adjust the pricing accordingly (ie. pass the full 4-hour crew costs to the customer for a 2 or 3-hour trip) and empower the customer to decide if the expense is worth it.

Toys & Add-ons

For included add-ons, price them at $0 per charter. If you have more than one of a particular toy or add-on and want to price them individually, click "Add Another +" and create an individual add-on for each (ie. if you have two jetskis).

Marina

Please list the marinas from which you can pickup/dropoff for charters

Nauta is in the process of developing a wholistic marina system that will allow you to offer charters from any marina in your local area while automating the process of handling slips and reservations. We'll be in contact and will update you as this functionality comes to fruition. 

Food & Beverage

Nauta provides users with the option to add catering to their trip (via SoFlo Chefs) and alcohol delivery (via Drizly). 

Cancellations & Refunds

Offer a full refund up to 

 days before the trip start

Offer a 50% refund up to 

 days before the trip start

Cancellations following the 50% refund period are non-refundable.

Contact & Communications

Nauta will direct logistical communications from our service providers (such as catering or alcohol delivery) to the crew point of contact if added. Otherwise, we will direct communications to the provided owner/manager contact.
